June 2023: Call for comments on “Looking at the Future of Transdisciplinary Research”

NITRO-Oceania (through the Informing research and funding policy working group) will provide comments on the recent discussion paper “Looking at the Future of Transdisciplinary Research” prepared by the International Science Council Centre for Science Futures – see https://futures.council.science/news/call-for-comments for both the call for comments and the link to the report. Comments are due by June 30.

Given that this is a call for comments (through a comments box) rather than submissions and that the Centre for Science Futures and the authors are “eager to read about personal experiences with transdisciplinary research and how it has impacted funding and evaluation of research or scientific institutions,” NITRO-Oceania is planning to just make a brief comment, basically saying who we are and what we are aiming to do, plus some comments on the report itself.

If you have any feedback on the report, please send it to Gabriele.Bammer@anu.edu.au.

Please also consider making your own comments that address the personal experiences they are keen to hear about.
